When I look at blocked emails in the dashboard, and send one through to my personal email, will that action update my existing Filters?

No, Filters are only controlled within the Filter pop-up. Sending through an email to your inbox that was previously blocked won’t impact your Filter settings unless you update them accordingly. Read More
