Take control over your online data with lockrMail
The challenge in data privacy is to control data while protecting personally identifiable information. By consenting to share your information with publishers in our network (think: your favorite lifestyle and news sources like FoodNetwork.com and BBC.com), you are allowing lockrMail to share your name and the lockrMail email address you created, as well as an encrypted version of your personal email address(es) tied to your lockrMail account.*
What this means for you:
- Keep your personal email private, the way it should be. lockrMail will never share, sell, or reveal your actual destination email address(es) to partners.
- Streamline registration to access your favorite digital content. More and more publishers are requiring an email to access their content, but with lockrMail only minimal setup effort is needed. Simply visit a website that supports ‘Sign in with lockrMail’ and your account is created (no need to remember another username/password combination!).
- View and control how your data is being used by each publisher in our network. lockrMail’s advanced privacy features on the Domain Settings page provide full transparency, allowing you to control (whether opting-out, objecting to, or deleting) which brands can collect and process your consented data.
- Enjoy a more open Internet. Your encrypted destination email address(es) give publishers the ability to better personalize site experiences and place ads that are more relevant to you and profitable for them; enabling your favorite sites to keep their content free for you, while maintaining your privacy.
- Maintain control of your inbox. Consenting doesn’t mean sacrificing your control of email preferences within our publisher network – you can still curate the contents of your inbox through lockrMail’s customizable filters.
*Consent in the publisher network is not required for lockrMail access.
