3 Tips for Using the lockrMail Chrome Extension

Published March 10, 2021

Congratulations! You’ve downloaded the lockrMail Google Chrome extension and are officially on your way to enhancing your productivity even further. To get you started, we’re sharing three of our favorite ways to use this new tool:

1. Auto-fill forms. We’ve all been there: you’re browsing the web, you click through to an interesting article, only to be blocked by an email subscription wall. You’re annoyed, and now you’re stuck typing in your email, frantically trying to close this pop-up, or giving up on the article all together. Once you install the lockrMail chrome extension, this friction point dissipates. As you peruse content online, any email registration box that pops up will display the lockrMail lock on the left-hand side. Simply click the lock, and your lockrMail email address will auto-populate.

2. Update Sender settings in real-time. Say you are shopping on brand.com and purchase a gift for a friend. Maybe ALL of brand.com’s emails are currently being blocked through your lockrMail, but you want to be sure you receive the order confirmation and shipping updates for this gift. Simply open the lockrMail chrome extension in your browser and update your filter for the relevant Sender. Easy as that! The extension makes it incredibly seamless to manage your lockrMail Filters while a particular Sender is top of mind and without ever leaving the brand’s website.

3. Identify & search recently blocked emails. We know you’re a lockrMail pro: you’ve been filtering emails left, right and center, and your inbox is now a well-oiled machine. But suddenly, you’re shopping online and it dawns on you – there is a chance that you missed a recent sale or promotional offer that could apply to your impending purchase. With the new lockrMail extension, you won’t have to second-guess yourself. The extension will identify the site you’re on and notify you of any recently blocked emails. Simply click the notification and send any relevant emails to your inbox. You’ll have the discount code you need in no time.

lockrMail already makes it easy to avoid FOMO but the new Chrome extension takes it to a new level with dynamic notifications and email search functionality right at your fingertips.
